I’m working on the interview I did with Matt Silverman and was trying out various things I might do to the footage to make it look better. This footage was lit fairly flat, and we are against a boring wall and it really looks pretty camp. However, since I’ve read Stu Maschwitz’s book: “The DV Rebel’s Guide”, I now have a better appreciation for the kinds of things one should not just write off as a bad shooting day. Below are before/after shots showing one possibility for re-lighting the scene in post.
